Clare Allison, London

With the right support, everyone has the inherent ability to achieve his or her potential.

I believe that the key to unlocking this potential often depends on the willingness of the individual to stand up and be counted when it matters. In my experience, the most effective people bring their values to work. The most effective organisations listen to those values.

Using insight, empathy and, where appropriate, tenacity, I help managers to integrate their beliefs into their role, bringing pride and passion to their teams and the wider organisation.

A combination of support and challenge

Where clients are stuck, I maintain a safe and supportive environment where perceptions can be questioned and experiences reframed.  Within this context, inner resources can be recognised and strengthened.

I am not afraid to ask challenging questions, enabling leaders to look issues ‘in the eye’ before taking decisive action.

But coaching should not always be serious.  I believe that creativity and fun can generate the most effective solutions.

A qualified, accredited executive coach with corporate communications background

Prior to specialising in executive coaching and gaining an MSc in Executive Coaching from Ashridge Business School, I spent nearly 20 years as a senior corporate communications adviser, helping leaders to become more transparent and effective communicators.

In my consulting career, I work, or have worked with a range of organisations, including Deloitte UK, Group 4 Securicor, the NHS, Southern Rail and AXA Private Equity.
