Used well, visual aids can be a powerful support tool, anchoring an audience’s attention and clarifying difficult concepts or statistics. More commonly, however, Powerpoint is used as a briefing document and as a visual aid. Except it doesn't aid us at all. We end up confused, annoyed or bored.
